Tilda's Town Challenge #54 - Christmas

Time for a new challenge at Tilda's Town..
This week's challenge is to help you get ahead on your Christmas card stash!

Here's what I came up with:

The Stars I've used on the borders are from the same collection..
I love the card's shape..
I've used GoKreate Large Frames Frilly #10 for that..

The DP's are from Maja Design's Vintage Spring Basics Collection..
The textured papers are from Papermania..
I've also used some Kraft paper..
The Spruce that's hidden under the image is a Magnolia Doohickey..
You can find it here..

The Snowflake and Tilda Tag are Doohickey's too..
This gorgeous lace is from a local store..
You know what? I just can't stop using doilies.. It has become an obsession.. :)

I've added some cheesecloth under the image for some more texture..
The lace on this picture is from the same local store as the other one..
The pearls are from Rayher..

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Kort & Godt..
All the paper edges are distressed and then machine sewn..
I've used my Spellbinders Ovals to cut out the image..
And then the Scalloped Ovals for the kraft layer under..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..
You can find my step by step colouring tutorial HERE..
Of course I had to add a little bit of Frantage ..
I've also used some Stickles and Liquid Pearls to add some more details..
Did I forget anything?
Hope not..

So this was my card.. What about you?

Tilda's Town Challenge #52 - Something Old, Something New...

I'm late as usual but I've finally managed to finish my card..
You won't believe what happened..
My Tilda was all coloured up when I spilled a glass of water over the image..
I'm glad there was no one near me because I was screaming like a crazy..
I had to start all over again today and that's why I'm so late with my project for this week's Tilda's Town Challenge..
The theme is Something Old, Something New..
I have some new papers, a brand new stamp, my new Frantage..
For the old part: my dies, punches, flowers etc.

Here she is:

I've used the new Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics papers..
The stamp is called Tilda Longstocking and she's from the Once Upon A Time Collection 2013..

I never get tired of making criss cross cards..
And I never get tired of using my Spellbinders Ovals - normal and scalloped..
The Old Swedish Lace is one of my all time favourite Doohickey's..

I've used one of the Spellbinders Fancy tags to make that 'handle' that's used to pull out the inside of the card..
As you can see all the paper edges are distressed.. I use Walnut Stain Distress Ink for that..
And then machine sewn..

Hidden down there is a gorgeous border made with a Martha Stewart punch..
And the lace.. I have no words to describe that.. It's just perfect..
The pearls are from Rayher..

All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts except one..
The chrysanthemum is from Kort & Godt and so is the Pearl Spray..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..
List of colours:
Weathered Wood
Pumice Stone
Vintage Photo
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Milled Lavender
Dusty Concord

I hope you've noticed that this is the very first time I use the Fran-tage..
And what can I say.. I LOVE IT!!!!
I wanna Fran-tage everything in the house now.. :)
There are two butterflies on the card..
The big one made with a MS punch and the small one boooh.. Anyway.. I had to Frantage those too..
Aren't they gorgeous??
It's like they weren't made out of paper..
This is the Shabby White Embossing Enamel but I already have more colours on my shelf.. LOL!

That's all for now..
If you missed my candy you can find it HERE..

I hope you'll join us in this fantastic challenge!!
You really don't want to miss the chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to
The winner will be random, chosen by Inklinkz..

Marvelous Magnolia #25 - Pearls and Lace

Here's my card for the new Marvelous Magnolia Challenge..
This week we want to see some Pearls and Lace on your creations..

I made this card for a very special friend of mine..
She's the auntie of little Tim.. He was born last week..
An adorable little boy..

The papers are from the Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics collection..
There's a doily and some cheesecloth on there too..

The birdcage is a Tim Holtz Alterations die..
The laces and vintage seam binding are from my stash..
The charm is one of those I got on Ebay..

The flowers and pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts..
The heart border was made with a Martha Stewart punch..
I've used my Spellbinders ovals again to cut out the image..
The Scalloped Ovals always add a nice touch..

All the paper edges are distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and machine sewn..
The flourishes around the image are from Stempelglede..
I stamped those with Pumice Stone Distress Ink and I really love how it all turned out..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..
I haven't used much colours this time:
Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo for the skin,
Tattered Rose for the cheeks,
Weathered Wood and Pumice Stone for the shadows,
a mix of Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans for his dress
and then again Pumice Stone to add some shadows..
The pics are really bad this time..
My camera really doesn't want to cooperate.. :)
I've used some Liquid Pearls and Stickles for the final touches on the image..

Don't forget that we have awesome sponsors for our challenges and this week our marvelous sponsor is Crimson Cloud..

I hope you'll join us!!
Take care!!
